Sorry, no pictures. My laptop is acting up again.

We, Fey's family and our household had our Christmas gift trade. They got me gift cards and candy. One piece of the chocolate is sitting on my desk now. Ayden pulled it out of my stocking and carried it around for a while. It is covered in dog drool, now. I am think of putting a no candy sign on my next year. Between Fey's parents and Aunt, the stocking was half candy. My blood sugar has been all over the place.

Fey may also Me giving me some cash for one of the gift cards. It is to McDonald. I really don't eat there at all. It was very thoughtful of the them though. I usually eat a meal on the road trip down to my parents, but I tend to pack it. That and Fey is more likely to use the card.

With this, I say have a great rest of the year.

This might look some what familiar. It is a power cord for a lap top. The second one have have gotten for my, in fact. The other replacement I had gotten started to spark and wasn't powering the computer anymore.

One of Ayden's toys in the bathtub. I had put him in the bathroom, in hopes that he would stop barking at the people doing work on the house.

Here is the flowers on my plant. Below is a picture of what they are suppose to look like.

Ayden seem to forget about the back door when he is trying to follow me.

The top is the central air unit. It will be cooling the base floor. As the person putting it in told us, it was going to be hard to run the duct work upstairs with out a lot of work. There are no closets to use. The other is the present window unit. It will be going up into my room in a few weeks.

Between the holidays and the remodeling, My time I spent on the computer was very minimal. It is a bad excuse, but that is all I've got.

Egg drop french onion soup

Okay, we couldn't make up our minds witch we wanted so I did this for lunch.

4 cups beef broth
1 onion slice very thin
2 tablespoons butter
1 egg, beaten
.
Cook the onions in the butter, over low heat, til they are browned. Add the broth and simmer 5 to 7 minutes. While stirring add the egg.

We have a date.

Columbus Zoo and Ren feast

I do apologize for how late this post is. Last Wednesday Fey took Auntie, Fluffy and me to the Columbus Zoo. On Sunday, Fey, Cko, and I went to the Renaissance Festival. The day in the middle of the two I was working.

This was part of the decor in a section of the zoo.

People can pay to feed the Lorikeets. Fey got the most on her. I didn't feel like feeding them.

She(I think) was trying to come over to see the people. Now I know what Nintendo was basing Lanky off of.

Just some random sign work on the wall. I thought it was funny.

He did the announcing for the jousting. The horses where all rescued from being killed.

Columbus Trip

Auntie, Fey, and I went down to Columbus on Monday. As it turned out I was sick on Monday and Tuesday. So I blame that for a late posting.. I also was rain in most of the shoots. We spent the first part of it in German Village. I like the brick roadwork they still have there. There are a few pictures of the yards there.

The lady I work for got some new kittens in the barn. She was taking care of them until another Cat took them.

I think we got about 6 inches last night. The winds kind of blew everything around, below is a picture of one of the snow drifts. Most of the yards is bare. That snow drift is barely plowed thought. I don't think that most of the cars can fit, yet.

Yes, I am referring to my Christmas Village. The one I started painting last year. Here they all are:

The Guy came over today and clean the chimney. It had been pretty well blocked.
We also mailed out some of the pet's things. I have yet to figure out why he would leave his birth certificate and high school diploma. Most jobs require you to show them that stuff, or at lest last time I checked.
All the snow melted on Sunday with all the rain and it started snowing again today.
I planted 2 herbs and flower seeds in the pots that I picked up last year (meaning to do them before the snow, oh well). I was silly about it though. I forgot to mark which was which. I will have to ID them after they come up.

Auntie is full time in the nursery to started in February. And, sorry, I am still not working. We are planning to call around for quotes to fix the car. The mechanics haven't been about to find the transmission, so we what to call around to see if we can find one. That way we can get the car back soon.

That is 2 of 7 rooms cleaned for the holidays. We did this on Friday. Saturday, I was to finish up the kitchen, but I spend the day dealing with my allergies instead. Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

I have no plans of putting up any more pictures from Thanksgiving. My relatives did a wonderful job of that.
We have started to clean the house up for Christmas. Right now the plastic is going up on the windows. It is raining out side, not snow. I did pull down one of my villages to put up. The other one isn't going up. I haven't finished repainting it yet.
Normally I try to make about 5 or 6 different truffles for the holidays but this year I am think about fudge instead. It is a little less time involved. The cookie dough is ready to be baked (mostly).
Friday we will know when Fluffy is arriving. Fey thinks he will be here for Christmas.
At lest I am not quoting carols-yet.

I just wanted to put down some thoughts and pictures I found. The pictures are from a Live Journal I recently started following. I hurt the saying form somewhere. I like the squirrel and I haven't figure out why yet.

The farmers are taking all the corn down now. I think that is why my allergies are acting up.

And I finally fell down the stairs. I missed the last step and landed on the floor. My hip did bruise. The other side is just painful. I don ' think I will carry down the laundry. I usually through it down, basket and all.

There is a radio station playing Christmas music now. It surprised me yesterday

I don't think that I will post before Saturday, so I am wishing everyone one a safe holiday.

Ayden has a grooming appointment tomorrow. His coat isn't very manageable right now, so it is coming off.

Spent the last three days visiting my parents. It is 5 hours by car, each way. I do wish there was another way to get there.

Still looking for work. I do hope to have something soon.

And I think Winter is here too. The Temperatures dropped from 75 to 40 in about 12 days. The basement is half full of wood. Hopefully we will be done with that soon.

The 'cat door' was closed for the season less than a week ago. I know Ayden has tried to ram into it a few time. I hope he hasn't hurt anything there.

On an odd note, Six weeks until Thanksgiving. I haven't decided if I am going to make my own meal or eat with Fey's family.

I am trying to restart menu planning. There has been some luck with that.

Here is the little pumpkin I got out of the garden. I painted the face on it. I believe the only thing living right now is the collards.

I forgot, Me is Sorry. The week has been some what eventful. Heritage Festival was okay, but after going to another County fair. I am a little tired of them.
I had a job interview on Tuesday. I start this Tuesday. I'm not too sure of this one ether
Wishing good luck to my parents. I hope the trip is uneventful for the move.

Purple Chicken

yes I did figure out the recipe(Finally). Here I is what I figured out.

2-4 Chicken Breasts
375 ml of a red wine
1 teas Tarragon
1 teas Onion Powder
1 teas Basil
1 teas ground Thyme
1-2 Bay leaves

Preheat the oven to 350.
Place Chicken in baking pan. Pour the wine over.
Sprinkle the herbs over the chicken. Cover the pan with Foil.
Bake 30-45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked though.

Two weeks and no update, my oops. The dog went into the vet to remove the clip from the tether to his safety harness. None of use can figure out how Carrot-top got it stuck. As of Sunday, I had a headache that seemed to not go away. Auntie took me to the ER on Tuesday. I have no clue what they gave me but it was good.
The county next to ours is having their Fair next week. Fey is planning to bring me there on Monday.
Lets try for a bit closer next time.

Auntie has told me that I have been a little off lately. I never put up a menu for last week and I don't think I will this week either. My ankle stopped hurting on Wednesday. Friday I was trying to make a cross between French fries and potato chips. Third slice in, I cut my pointer figure. Pet finished cutting the potatoes for me.
Fey flea bombed the house today. I stayed out side with the fuzzy ones. She also made dinner. Auntie's room is clean(as is all the rest of the rooms). The laundry has been running all day. I think I will be going all day tomorrow as well.
They had the tournament on Thursday. It wasn't to bad. We learned a a few things to do next year.
The weather has been cooler lately. I pulled out a blanket to sleep with.

if anyone is reading this thing anymore. I haven't receive feed back from my family at all. Heck some haven't updated theirs in a few months now. I do enjoy this. I hope to hear from people soon. I will continue to participate in some of the things I do, but I am getting rid of the other blog.

The weather has been alright. It cooled down for a while. The hot dogs where still frozen at dinner so I boiled them to break them up and then we cooked over the fire, Yum. I also tried brownies with zucchini. They turn out wonderful.

The car is starting to act up. I am hoping that it holds together till next year. At 15 years old, It has had a long life(I have own it for over 3). I a not planning to get a large wagon next.

Well time for dishes, maybe, I am not sure of I am up to doing them tonight

Cheesey Chicken

1/4 cup chives
2 green onions
8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup chicken broth
1 lb chicken breasts
~
Preheat oven to 350.
Beat the cream cheese with the chives and onions(Or sub a container of chive and onion cream cheese, and slighty beat it).
Slowly beat in the chicken broth.
Pour over chicken.
Bake 30-45 minutes.

Yeah the Fluffy one is here. I don't know if there are any plans while he is here. Fluffy arrived Friday night and goes back on Monday. He is planning to make dinner for Pet, so auntie, Fey and I are going out for dinner. I will probably pack something and go to the park. I will bring the camera.

Yeah I forgot about this post. I am very sorry. Fey passed her insurance test and should get everything in the mail soon. I enjoyed a day running around with Fluffy. He is fun to hang around once and a while. He comes up next weekend. Fluffy's work is going to be closed for a remodelling. This should be fun.

Fey and I have a lot of fun tonight. We occasionally play Lego Star Wars II. I do okay as long as I don't end up with a light saber. We call it the 'Special Jedi' group. The name came up after we died A LOT. We may finish the trilogy by Christmas(I hope.).

I am still waiting on my birth certificate to come in the mail. If I don't see anything about it by Monday I am going to call the health office. I am still debating if I am going to keep trying to do the thing with the insurance company. I may not be able to get anyone. And it involves more money that I don't have right now.

The Seneca County Fair is going on this week, Fey is taking me to it tomorrow. I hope to have pictures for everyone later this week.

The tow pictures below are Fey and Ayden sleeping on our last trip. I didn't get much sleep that time. Fey hasn't fixed the thing with her licence. I am not sure if I want her driving right now. She hasn't been behind the wheel in almost a year now.

Class, class and more class

Who every decide that 20 hours was enough to learn life insurance is crazy. I am thinking about retaking the class just to be sure I didn't miss anything. The teacher thinks I am ready, but I am not too sure.
The weather has been fun. Mid 80's during the day and 50's at night. My camera arrived on Monday. I will up load the pictures on Friday.
I also took a class on Monday about freezing and canning. That was at the library. I hope to get to more of them.

I believe it is from Meatloaf, the song. That is how i felt to night. The meeting we got to on Thursday nights are informational but we have to be dressed business casual. I even took the time to put on some of my cover up(I broke out real bad in the last week). We got there on time for the meeting and no one was there. As of tonight Fey nor I have been able to get a response about what happened to the meeting. So that is why I seemed to be reminded of the song.

I found a baking cookbook at the library. It involves baking for 2 or 3 people, even cakes. We plan on going to the library on Tuesdays now.
I may start working part time soon. The groomer may be losing her usual washer. She asked me of I was interested in the job. I will see what happens soon.
Any one know of summer time recipes? I don't like cooking in the oven during the summer. I don't know if Fey or Pet know that I will not be baking anytime soon. I figure that the temperatures should drop in late September. I did make a variation of a lasagna in the slow cooker tonight. It came out real good.
I worked on the blog a little as well. What does everyone think

Still Waiting

On my camera, Mom hasn't sent it to me yet. The picture is off of Auntie's. I finally finished the dress that I had been wanting to do. There is the picture of it. I think I am going to find a light sweater to put over top. There is enough fabric left to make one for Fey, but I am going to shorten it to her knees.

Ayden had been using the 'cat' door for a while. He figure out that when we walk out the other door, he runs out the little door and runs around to the front. We have to close the back door when we all leave. Good news is that he going out when every he needs to and doesn't have to wait of any of us.

The Fourth of July was fun, Ayden, Fey, Auntie and I when to the park and watched the fireworks. Ayden wasn't too fond of them. Sunday we all ate a good dinner at Fey's parents house. Ribs, Stuffing, German sting beans, and homemade potato salad. I made the potato salad.

I forgot my camera at New York AGAIN. I really need to stop doing that. The trip itself wasn't bad. Twelve hours in the car with a dog and a 7 week old bunny was not fun. Fey , Ayden and I where in the front seat the whole way home. Cutie was in the back seat. She traveled well, Thankfully.
The car looks funny now. I am not use to the corner lights being whole.
Weather has been cool again. I actually grabbed a sweatshirt and pants, In July.
Ayden learned to use the cat door ofter two months. I not sure if this is a good thing. I guess we will see.
The nuker died. We are currently without a microwave. It had been fun, but we do have a steamer. I have been playing with that.
We have a meeting tonight. I don't know what to think about it. I am still uneasy about the program.

One week left until Fey's Dad's Party(I need to work on a name for him). Fey still has to finish shopping for the party. I am debating if the mall will be open, so the Pet can look into a job. We will see.
There was a car wash done by the Ampgard group. I got a little red from that, but my wagon is CLEAN. There is another one in three weeks. Pet wants to go to that one as well. There should be more people, I hope.
The company overview when well. We may have to get a hold of the person we were going to talk to. He didn't call us back yet, but the job definitely looks promising.
I think I will cut it here, so it doesn't turn into rambling.

I hope Dad gets a chance to read this before he go to KY. The grooming is a three day thing. I will be there next Tuesday and Saturday. The same sat. is Fey's Father's 50th birthday party. Busy Day.
I went to a job Fair today. Fey and I are going to a company's overview tomorrow. I hope to get housework done this weekend. There were several promising jobs there.

Saling time

We are having a giant garage sale on Friday and Saturday. So far I have been pricing my stuff. There is a large tote of stuff. I have been baking as well. Cherry-Almond Cookies, Cinnamon Swirl bread, white bread, Wheat bread, and Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins. I had been planing to make Dreamsisle Cookies as well, but I ran into a few problems. I hope to get some pictures of the sale with Auntie's camera.
The Fluffy is coming tonight. He will be here until Monday. I don't know what we are doing, yet.
I am way too tired to keep up with everything.

Waiting on the Rain. . .

to stop. I has rained for 4 days now. The garden is only partional planted. I think there isn't going to be a dry day for a bit yet.
Ampgard moved. A lot of people where watching us in the park. A couple of kids even had a camcorder. Some of the other were not to happy about it. We will be at a different park today.
To answer my loving sister, red wine is what makes the chicken purple.
STILL can't find my battery charger. Keep looking.

The chicken does in fact end up purple in color. I will put up the recipe later. I am using Lori's camera for the pictures. They have started the garden. I hope it will be finished soon. I still can't find collards. Most of the plastic on the window has been taken off. Most of the spring cleaning has also been done.

Sorry about how short it is. I am not feeling to great today.
